Bee Free

What does it truly mean to me free? To be so empowered you no longer hold onto the fear blocking you? Holding your energy in a high vibration is magical and everyone can tap into it. Yes, pollinators love foxglove and we need pollinators on this earth but can you look beyond the obvious and into what the energy and deeper symbolism are in this piece?

With creating this Bee Free painting, I allowed myself to freely paint with a pallet knife. Even if you aren’t an artist or a painter I highly recomend grabbing a canvas and a pallet knife and seeing what you create when you have the freedom to just swipe paint on a canvas. Allow the textures and colors to overlap in the most magical way.

I have a love for foxgloves, maybe it’s their association to fairies and all things mystical or maybe it’s because the plant holds protection and healing properties. There is a give and take energy with foxglove, life and death cycle. While I was deep in my shadow work I made a strong connection with foxglove, it’s one of the first flowers I planted in my garden. At that time I knew nothing about the plant other than it was “witchy”. I learned quickly the energy it held and it guided me into healing some of my shadows. Fast forward to this year, I planted foxglove seeds, nothing grew. Could this possibly be because in this season of my life I’m in a renewal phase? I have planted seeds that I need to nourish and water this year to have a beautiful boom next year. Allowing myself to fully immerse myself into my creative energy and stepping into my soul purpose.

Which leads us to the honeybees. I have a strong connection with bees, especially honeybees. This is not my only piece that has bees incorporated into it. I will forever be creating with bees as they guide me in this lifetime and many more. While my stories with working with honeybees are endless in this piece specifically the energy of “bee-ing” free is magical. I will always be grateful for the creative energy bees surround me with and I hope this painting inspires others to look beyond what we see and truly bee free!
